Put an example of problematic file to some file hosting like dropbox,
google cloud or something alike and provide us with link.

In general, follow this

http://gwyddion.net/faq.php#faq023

However, here I suppose you have MIF files v1.10 so it is more
complicated. Quoting a previous answer,

Since essentially each sub-version of MIF is a somewhat different
format, each needs to be implemented separately. It is not
particularly difficult, but I only implemented 1.7 because there was
demand for it and I have got actual files and format documentation.

I do not have any documentation at all for versions beyond 1.7. And
without any documentation, I would not attempt implementation of the
1.10 format version.

You can try asking DME if they can provide it although they seem to
be happier with people using their better designed GDEF format –
which, if you have conversion tools available can also be an option
as it is supported by Gwyddion.
