Hello,

how can I rename the channel names shown in the data browser? If it is
not possible now, this would be nice feature to have.

When opening the files I get two channels named "Topography" storing
forward and backward scan respectively. During processing I get more
channels like "Calculated 1" to "Calculated n. I want to give the
channels names of what they show. This would make it easier to
understand what each channel shows after a few weeks.

Greetings

Hi Martin,

You can select the channel in the data browser, then hit enter on the
keyboard. That will let you edit the name.

Best,
Chris

Thanks,

I did not found this in the User guide. My be a rename button would be
nice or a context menu with delete, copy, rename, extract, etc..

Indeed, it is missing there.

You can also rename the channels (and other data items) after
triple-clicking on them. That should be double-click but, for reasons
not clear to me, in most environments a first/third click is necessary
even if the item is already selected.

Maybe, although I have no idea how a rename icon should look...
